Rounding off my #wildflowerhour contribution this week with my final 7 flowers for #thewinter10 are:
Wall Barley, Cocksfoot, and Annual Meadow Grass.
Plus, Scarlet Pimpernel, Herb Robert, Red Dead-nettle and what I think is Nettle-leaved Goosefoot.
And a bonus picture of fantastic Teasel heads.

Green-eyed Hawker Aeshna isoceles, of the family Aeshnidae. Also known as the Norfolk Hawker.

I have to confess that I have a great love of odonata. I can't wait for next season.

Opened up a Teasel head in the garden, no larva but full of frass in the centre. Endothenia gentianaeana I suspect, which will be NFG. Need to open up the other heads to double check. Plant it, and they will come 😊 #teammoth
