Finally, some good news in public broadcasting.

Pennsylvania's WPSU will stay on the air after a planned shutdown in 2026.

The Penn State-owned PBS affiliate + NPR station will become part of Philadelphia's WHYY after a "public outcry of support."

For the first time in 50 years, public tv & radio stations are operating without government funding. If you're able, now is a great time to make a donation.

Personally, I love @wyep.bsky.social & @wesa.fm 📻 WQED Pittsburgh & WPSU State College 📺, but everyone should support their local stations!
