My last ink purchase for 2025. One amused me greatly and I learned something new. The other was related in theme and the realization that I really wanted a full bottle (not just the original 5 ml bottle)

My two favorite purples are currently Doña Victoriana by Troublemaker Inks and Wearinguel Medeia Beliar but the second one is the perfect ARMY purple

Robert is from the Iridescink inks, the rest are Fruity. Robert has massive sheen when laid down thickly and I used it to also try out the Colorverse swatch cards and the Tinkerbell edition of the Wearinguel cards - I may have time and energy to do a blog post this weekend.

Robert is from the Iridescink inks, the rest are Fruity. Robert has massive sheen when laid down thickly and I used it to also try out the Colorverse swatch cards and the Tinkerbell edition of the Wearinguel cards - I may have time and energy to do a blog post this weekend.

it doesn't look special. Iroshizuku Fuyugaki is perfect in the bottle but not quite intense enough on paper. I like all the Wearinguel names....

new ink sample: wearinguel frankenstein
it's a rich dark purple with shimmer, but i'm thinking my sample bottle doesn't have a lot of the shimmer because it's not very prominent even after a few shakes.
*tad* too dark for me, wish it was lighter and there was slightly more shading, but still nice

Hah, that’s the opposite of anything in my collection, but Sailor & Diamine are great lines to explore. Wearinguel has some pretty shimmers.
I can think of more greens with copper shimmer (or additives) than sheen. Sheen is usually gold/red on a super saturated deep green/blue or black 1/2

Inks are a similar story, but my impulses have yet to settle down there. I feel like getting an inkvent mainly because it means ready made samples for aeons but these days I buy inks because of their association to things I like.
With more Wearinguel inks coming in, my wallet fears hahaha

Hi Fountain Pen people. I'm looking for a well behaved black shimmer ink. I have diamine night sky and wearinguel hades. And they're ok. But I have a custom 823 with the signature nib and expected a wet writer like that to do better. so would love some suggestions.
