So ... I have been in a bit of a funk and couldn't get myself to watch my faves show #WoTOnPrime, which means I now have 2 episodes to watch ... Maybe someone who’s had a few hours to digest this can explain it. Not every fantasy book/show has to pull a GRRM to be considered good.
Honestly great season, but those two face punches to readers in the last couple episodes, especially ep 8, tainted it. 5/5

Maybe someone who’s had a few hours to digest this can explain it. Not every fantasy book/show has to pull a GRRM to be considered good.

I get they have to cut subplots. I suppose they’ll use Leane to train E in politics (if they even do Salidar now beyond minimally showing a rift), so it’s not like I don’t understand *how* they’d proceed. I just don’t get cutting her out at this point. 4/
