#TreasureIsland is an artificial island right next to #YerbaBuenaIsland in #SanFranciscoBay. #FlyingBoats ruled transoceanic passenger air travel, and an airport was envisioned in the 1930s. WW2 got the airport cancelled and relocated to today's location south of San Francisco.
