Side note: He chose to call a Jew a "moron" for calling him out over his refusal to admit he was wrong about Trump being a Nazi...on #YomHaShoah.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah). We remember the six million Jews murdered by Nazis and the millions of others targeted for their lived identities. Remembrance is a moral commitment in the present—to confront antisemitism and resist dehumanization.

This is my father (with his sister).
They were German Jews. I am so thankful that they escaped from the Nazis and came to England as refugees. Most of the rest of their family were exterminated in Dachau, Riga and other concentration camps.

Wow, wouldn’t you know- plugging in the word “million” was quite successful. Dude has a history of posts claiming that the number of Jews killed in the Holocaust is fake.

Our April 2025 protest took place on Yom HaShoah, a day when people who died during the #Holocaust are remembered. We said "Never again!" to #genocide as we protested the Chinese government's genocide of its #Uyghur population.

A new wave of research into genocide is overturning stories about victims going meekly to slaughter.

Resistance was frequent, both among the Armenians (against whom the Turks began a genocide #OTD in 1915) and among Jews during the Holocaust.

Any #yomhashoah commemoration last week which failed to acknowledge that #israel is perpetrating a #genocide in #gaza and the #westbank was a hypocritical mockery of #holocaust remembrance and an abject failure to uphold its prime directive, #neveragain.
The Holocaust propaganda drummed into my […]

The #Holocaust was the first widely photographed mass atrocity. The #LastSeen project is collecting images of Nazi deportations, often the last photos memorializing victims before their deaths.

Michigan is home to one of the largest Holocaust memorial centers in the U.S., a place of memory, education and truth. On Yom HaShoah, we renew our duty to educate future generations so history is never erased or repeated.

No one's talking about. Netanyahu. You're confused. How ironic to bring up Israel committing genocide on the Palestinians in a Pope funeral thread during YomHaShoah. Netanyahu doesn't remember or care. He's blocked food into Gaza for 7 weeks. Starvation is a cruel slow painful death.
