Add Palmerston to the list of places that need a good Le Corbusiering. Next to the Annex, Cabbagetown and mid-etobicoke. The more righteous and self-proclaimed-special, the more hot towers go in.

I lived in Cabbagetown and was able to walk the whole protest route, then down a badly vandalized Yonge street. The whole thing was surreal.

A tangled web! lol. I sort of saw it the other way! I also might more likely say "east side" for Cabbagetown, but the East End for Leslieville or The Beach(es). Not that either are more logical than the other.

P.S. is this the beginnings of a plot to launch an East End Phoenix?

Little thing, but we got home and walked to eat dinner at Carroll Street Cafe in Cabbagetown on a whim, and I got about the most perfectly cooked piece of salmon with my salad that I've had in years.

I loved reading Cabbagetown after picking it up in Toronto, and it was great to find it was written by someone born here in West Yorkshire.

Moving onto Cabbagetown II now, which has moved onto the subject of gentrification.

The combination of the MTSA approvals and a supportive councillor being felt here. It's not too long ago that these type of weak arguments from nearby Cabbagetown NIMBYs would have won the day. They'll adapt with new ways to thwart housing but for now they're on the back foot.
“She also said she was concerned the development could make biking in the Sherbourne Street bike lane more dangerous because of larger wind gusts.”

15 years ago today, the Young Citizen (RIP) ran around the bottom of what I called "The Oscar Wilde toboggan hill" in Riverdale Park. I called it that because when Wilde visited Toronto he tobogganed into the valley and I sorta assumed it was at Cabbagetown here.

One of the most underrated burger spots in the Metro Atlanta area is Little's Food Store, located in Cabbagetown. The smashburger is simple and affordable.

We started seeing them in Cabbagetown about 5 years ago. I don’t recall ever seeing a snake around here, even down in the Don Valley.

I don't know how many big cities have a functioning farm downtown, but Toronto does. Riverdale Farm, in the Cabbagetown neighborhood, is a charming rural atmosphere within the metropolis. #photography #winter #horses #urbanfarms #toronto

Thanks. I live in a part of downtown Toronto called Cabbagetown. It’s all Victorian houses. A large Maple branch fell on the back fence so I added a window when we rebuilt the fence. Finn just loves looking through the window.

Parkdale seems to have low numbers, Are there fewer stations out there, or is the ride downtown too far? always thought of cabbagetown and parkdale as similiar, but not on that map.

When we were in Cabbagetown we found used needles and there were street people everywhere. It was great to see the safe consumption site by Moss Park. All people deserve safety; we often wondered if we might stumble on someone who'd OD'ed. I dislike Doug Ford.
