we have repeat offenders where it’s gotten so bad that we had to start turning them away. turns out the last baby i held with “allergies” ended up having a double ear infection plus a severe cold + fever

Get to the vet, or do a video call. Could be an ear infection which you don't want to let go, could just be allergies.

My allergies are insane right now itchy eyes. Chronic Rhinitis is full blown. Sinus infection. Ear ringing. Self injecting #dupixent is not my fave.

I developed a penicillin allergy as an adult, despite having it probably dozens of times as a child.
I had hives after having amoxicillin for an ear infection about 10 years ago, and my doctor said to just say penicillin when asked about allergies since they are so similar in structure.

Tysm, yes, thank God the medication looks like it’s working well! Her ear looks less gunky. She was crying a lot so I figured it was time for steroid shot again (for her allergies) but it turns out it was that and her ear infection. 😭

Took my doggo to the vet for her itchy ear. It’s the start of a yeast infection, pretty common for the breed considering their allergies can trigger them. They are going to flush the ear and medicate inside the canal that lasts 6 weeks

Cloud has terrible allergies to pollens, so she gets Apoquel chewable and that helps reduce her overgrooming.

Last summer, I had problems with my allergies. My ears got stuffed up and couldn't hear very well. I started flushing with saline a couple times a day (worried about it turning into an ear infection). Then I just continued. And it helps with dry air (heating system) now. ....

No ear infection this time, but I’ve had a lot of them this year. I need to see a ENT specialist to figure it out, because my regular doctor wrote it off as allergies.

I am never more than one day of bad allergies away from an ear infection, which would almost immediately kill me without antibiotics. The past sucked so much.

My wee dog has an ear infection (stemming, I’m sure, from his stupid allergies because I got an all white Aussie mix😂) and I feel so so so bad for him. Debating trying to get him in for a walk in at a low-cost clinic tom or waiting til his regular vet which will cost more but who I actually trust.
