A period show were Edward de Vere, Francis Bacon, and Christopher Marlowe together penned literary works under the pen name William Shakespeare.

But they also solve crimes.

And in one season they all fall in love with the same woman.

that’s not true, it was Edward de Vere who secretly contributed to the KJV

It’s plenty obvious that Edward de Vere, Earl of Oxford — not William Shakspere, businessman from Stratford — wrote the works we call Shakespeare.

"Shakespeare" is a 400 year old con to sell Tshirts on Stratford. See "Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford"--you know it, we all know it.

"Playing Shylock", a play with &, perhaps, about the actor Saul Rubinek is canny, ingenious, moving, questioning, & about much including being a Jew, Yiddish, cancel culture, truth, Theater, authorship, Edward de Vere, & Henry Irving. I highly recommend a trip to Brooklyn to get one's mind bent.

All those scientific discoveries attributed to him were really done by Edward de Vere or Christopher Marlowe

Look forward to PBS+Netflix documentary reported by BBC … but that portrait sure looks like Edward de Vere the Earl of Oxford ( who is known to be the real Shakespeare )

oder doch eher der hochgeborene und feingebildete, leidenschaftlich unordentliche, einigermassen deklassierte Aristokrat Edward de Vere, siebzehnter Earl of Oxford, erblicher Lord Great Chamberlain von England" ( #SigmundFreud in seiner Ansprache zur Verleihung des Goethe-Preises, 1930).

Professor Dan Wright gave me the title of my literary endeavors: "yogic interpretation." He also alerted me to the real Shakespeare writer, Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford. I cherish and preserve his memory at my Daniel L. Wright Memorial in my literary home. Thank you for visiting!

Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, must be turning in his grave.

Irritating to see Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, slighted yet again.

Reminds of the courtier Edward De Vere who farted in front of Elizabeth I and went into 7 years of self-imposed exile in embarrassment. Upon his return Elizabeth said ‘My Lord, I had forgot the fart’

On 30 Sept 1473, John de Vere, Earl of Oxford, seized St. Michael’s Mount, determined to revive the Lancastrian cause. Edward IV answered with a 22-week siege. Oxford surrendered in Feb 1474, only to escape & lead Tudor’s vanguard at Bosworth.

I hear Cantor was one.

I'm curious if the squabble among each other. Like, perhaps the Edward de Vere proponents think the Baconists are morons who make them look bad.

Don't you believe in ghosts? "There are more things in heaven and earth than dreamt of in your philosphy" - Edward de Vere.
September 24, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Yeah: I think it would have zero public credibility if Edward de Vere were someone the public knew literally anything about.

Edward de Vere died 19 years prior to the publication of the 1st Folio, & poems that exist in his name are nothing like those of Shakespeare? I sleep

The records of a man who lived in an era for which records are generally spotty are spotty? Real shit
