The rules based international order would indeed be a very good idea and I hope someone tries it within my lifetime
I mean this is just the "should we hug the flag or not?" argument again. "Restore the international rules-based order but without the hypocrisy" is the same thing as a new order, just framed differently.
i guess my critique of the AOC remarks at the munich security conference (and ig biden's people as well) is that they all want to frame the current status quo as the result of a "system betrayed" and not, instead, as the result of deliberate choices, the system itself *being* the issue.

My assumption for now is that they know this is not happening and the whole thing is a pretext to declare the elections fraudulent when it doesn't happen, which they very wrongly believe is an instant win button
The funny thing about the MAGA voter ID crusade is...are they SURE they want to do that? Increase the hurdles to advantage the most motivated? Because I assure you, Democratic voters will jump through any hoop you put in front of them to get a ballot cast. Can MAGA say the same of its voters?
