Like, is it rude to scream? Is it unfeminine? Or max feminine?

In this first incident, I had a different approach. I was kind of a macho kid and ready to not show fear. My roommate had a more traditionally feminine way. When grabbed, she started screaming hysterically loud. But, I think her screams frightened them. I came to respect that it was a good tactic.
