Greek Chimera - Creature Concept

A pale tan, muscular humanoid lion woman with goat's legs hangs upheld by her long snake tail, which ends with the horned head of a European Adder. Creature Concept: The Executrix (Gorgon-Lamia Gynoid)

A thin, robotic woman with a giant khopesh in one hand and a smoking rocket launcher in the other slithers in front of a black background on her snake-like lower body of metal plates. Her mouth is open in a scream, and black oil is sloshing out of it while neon magenta flames streak from her eyes, which are weeping tears of similar oil.

Her entire head is medusa-like, and her scalp is ringed by mechanical snakes whose heads all point in the direction her khopesh is raised. Their mouths are opened to reveal firing gun barrels mounted in their throats.

So I had an MRI the other day. I was prepared for the head cage and thunking sounds from seeing it on TV. I wasn’t expecting to be amused from all the various tones of buzzing, thudding, and beeps - it sounded like a machine invented by a mad scientist in a 50s sci-fi.

The asymmetry of his earring is his visual assurance he’s been free for fifteen years, that time has elapsed no matter what nasty rumors or recurring nightmares might temporarily trip him up in a spiral of disoriented doubt. The light grey tank top is its own reminder that he has friends, some with benefits, and the wider-than-strictly-necessary cut of the upsized garment shows off his collarbone and shoulders in a way that he likes.

His elbow brushes the branches of the plant as he brings his arms down, lightly rattling the leaves where it’s grown taller than he has. He winces, apologetic. “Sorry.”
