What! I missed #InternationalSealDay yesterday. These playful and intelligent animals are found in oceans all over the globe and play a crucial role in maintaining marine ecosystems. Take a moment to appreciate these amazing creatures and learn more about how we can help protect them. #sealday
Happy #InternationalSealDay to all of us who celebrate 🦭

It's #internationalsealday - here's a large harbor seal (Phoca vitulina) pup I saw on the beach this week. I wasn't very close, I have a very large camera lens =] 🐬

Today is #InternationalSealDay so here's hail to the Grey seal that swam and hunted along the #UndercliffPath just east of #Brighton back in February.
What a lovely sight for sore eyes he (I think!) was!

Seals may seem abundant, but some species are on the brink of extinction.

Four seal species are now Endangered or worse, with populations shrinking due to habitat loss, pollution and human activity.

Some have fewer than 1,000 left in the wild 🦭
