#it's-not-really-a-game
this deck is actually really strong this early game momentum deck, I had 4 spell dmg buffs a malted magma was dealing 5, hearth stone is a lot more intuitive, you know what all the abilities do, it's just a test of your reasoning, the logic is not overly convoluted, decks build on simple concepts

11/ Oh wow, I didn't mean for this post to be this depressing. I guess I'm just really passionate about Dragon Age. To me, it's not just a video game series. It's something that I experience on a spiritual level. I had to burn bridges over this, last year. Because of awful stuff that happened.

Oh assuredly no, but it’s really not a far jump from setting up a cloud game streaming service to a cloud pc streaming service. Infinitely more complex and annoying for the consumer, but that’s never stopped a tech billionaire from doing something stupid.

I spent a bit of time this weekend, and finally got emulation set up on my SteamDeck. I played a crazy amount of PS2 Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land, and wanted to emulate my copy to see how it holds up. It's nice! I'm surprised that the new Wizardry Variants Daphne dungeon seems very similar.

There are a number of not terribly positive reviews on Vernal Edge and it feels like a second game from the same people could be a lot better, but I'm not gonna lie it's got really fun traversal, and feels like it controls tighter than Ori and the Blind Forest all around

Going to be spending a lot more time on the road this year, so sorting out a proper gaming set up on the #ROG Flip laptop.

Absolutely love Forgotten Worlds Evo 2 build - wish adding games wasn't a fiddle but it -does- look nice, so probably this and Von's Arcade for more recent games

Elden Ring really favors/is balanced on certain builds or at least optimized ones for what you can get at the time. It's good that even late game weapons don't feel OP if you get them early, but boy does it suck speccing into a build that ends up not managing half the fights very well.

Initial thoughts:
Game good. :D

Really liking Hytale so far! It's certainly not perfect (not that it should be expected to be), but there's quite a bit going on already, and most of it is fairly polished.

In-particular it has a lot of "feel good" elements, with movement and mining and whatnot.

Man I'm having such a good time with Atelier Resleriana RW. It's not a deep game by any means but the grafting is rewarding, the characters are really cute, and the combat is an absolute BLAST. Not quiiite as good as Mana Khemia but it's def up there.

5. I would probably give this book like… a 6.5/10. There’s pacing in the middle really took me out of the storytelling. I have heated rivalry an 8, role model a 7, and the long game a 9.5 so it’s not necessarily bad, just not the best out of the gay romance books I have read

yes, they held out a final episode to include time travel after firmly closing all plotlines.
ugh.
Like, if I had one complaint- and its minor really. it's that Master GM didnt sneak that story into his actual game ending so his friends had to wonder. He had to be goaded not to"THE END" it.

seriously, though. i'm sorry if you're still going promote her as an archon - AS YOU SHOULD BE - she should also get to actually, you know, show up in game like the rest of the archons do, it's really not that difficult a concept.

Are you familiar with Jazz Jackrabbit? if not, do check out the 2nd game. it's a really good platformer and the community is small yet extremely loyal. people still make custom levels and assets for it. last one was uploaded within the last 24 hours

Finished Raidou Remastered

This game felt waking up and drink water at 3 AM: It's not a lifechanging, but really feels good and refreshing.

Combat is a bit simple but with some tweaks and fusions you really get going.

This is not a cerebral game, it's a job-based action game where you become insanely overpowered easily and beat the dogshit out of a million little dudes. The loot system is fun, and the job combinations are really crazy. Not a game I'd call a final fantasy game, but still really fun. 2/2

I really wanna be angry about this game but it’s not even close enough to induce any rage in me. It’s just such a huge bummer that the season went the way it did

I keep saying Karma is a bitch. But that’s not really fair to Bo. He’s a tough, clutch bad ass who’s consistently improved for the last 5 years. It’s not his fault the refs stole the game from the Bills.
January 18, 2026 at 2:40 AM
Like, that's really the only explanation you need. I'm not even gonna use the new, possibly real "the refs had money on the game because gambling is everywhere" excuse.

This wasn't a catch because it was the Buffalo Bills. If it were the Patriots, the Cowboys, the Chiefs, it's 100% a catch.

For 31, we have Ar NoSurge: Ode to an Unborn Star

I barely remember a thing about this game because it's been somewhere around 13 years since I played it and it's trapped on the PS3 and Vita, but I remember loving it so much that I fucked up my sleep schedule to finish it.

Phenomenal story, tho!

I watched the game today even thoughI'm not really a football fan. But it's hilarious how every win initiates a "It's the refs fault" response from the losing team. I guess people feel a creepy kind of win by complaining.
January 18, 2026 at 1:45 AM
It really was. I always root for a close game + underdog if it’s not my fave team. Given Buffalo’s rep and strong CLT presence, I was definitely rooting for Denver 🙌 !!!

#1: AI Limit
I really enjoyed this game. It's not perfect (the camera...wtf) but I highly recommend if you like soulslikes. It is definitely the fastest combat (no stamina bars) of the genre and I actually loved that. One more playthrough for 100% but that will have to wait a bit.
January 18, 2026 at 1:34 AM
That’s not really on the Leafs defence. Gotta hope Hildeby saves that but that’s probably one of those GA that you can accept if he has a good game rest of the way. Great shot by Connor tho - credit where it’s due.

It's not some weird hot take to say Portal is a terrific game, but Portal really is a terrific game.
