It does suck that Harry never got Promoted, surprised he didn't get demoted to Cadet with all the trouble he got into and always chuckled at this bit where he was talking to Janeway about if he was back home he'd probably have been Promoted by then. lol

It is interesting to see Chakotay wondering who to get to fill the posts temporarily with Tom Harry and the Doctor gone and Chakotay having to be acting Captain while Janeway is incapacitated. Especially knowing that the next book I read will be a Voyager book without Janeway

I remember the Delta Flyer race.
What I've discovered most so far (17 episodes in) that I like Chakotay more than I remembered. I always thought he was one of the "meh" characters. And I NEVER liked the fan idea of pairing him and Janeway.
But I've found him more likable this rewatch.

And the sucky thing is that I LOVE Chakotay. His energy and chrisma and chemistry with Janeway are so perfect. If they’d just not made him Native American he would have been perfect. Or if they’d wanted to cast a Native America they could have just done that.
