The Kaleesh war mask is a bone mask based on General Grievous' helmet, which itself would have been based on the in-universe skull of an erkush from Kalee. Before becoming the half droid leader of the CIS army, Qymaen jai Sheelal wore something similar.

Alright I decided to do some research on this: there is no mention of either Grievous or his species (the Kaleesh) having specific genitalia, though I'd go with hemipenes.
While I do think Grievous' dong was burnt off in a ship crash, he is into women, and could probably figure something out.

The lead is CIS captain Sivkhalen (Sikha) San Ourag. A Kaleesh raised during the Huk War, she was sold into slavery after her and her mother were captured by the invading bugs.
While her mother would not survive, Sikha went on to escape her bonds during a drunken night her owner had on Mandalore
