I used to be a fanatic for electronic/house songs, types with just a few raunchy lyrics over top, but my music taste varies a lot. ^^" Even to get immersed in a cosplay specifically, I might have to be brainrotted for tracks that belong to the cosplay's series.

The Wikipedia entries definitely white wash it from what I remember being reported. Feels like they've tried hard to distance themselves from it to keep their royalties coming in.

Here's an excerpt about the founder and lead writer:
On 27 March 1993, Expressen reported that Ekberg had once been a member of a band called Commit Suiside [sic],[4][5] which was active in Gothenburg from 1984 to 1986, when Ulf was between the ages of 14 and 16. In 1998, the bootleg Swedish record label Flashback Records released Uffe was a Nazi!, an unauthorized, five-track compilation of what it claimed were Commit Suiside recordings. The songs contained explicitly violent and racist lyrics.[6] A photo allegedly depicting Ekberg making a Nazi salute was used for the record's cover. Ekberg denied that Commit Suiside wrote or performed the songs released on Uffe was a Nazi!,[7] and described the band as "a New Wave music band creating and performing electronic music on synthesizers without any political touch or agenda."[8] Ekberg also denied ever being a member of the Sweden Democrats, a far-right political party founded in 1988.[9][7]

Richard Davies Check this out and play it loud on your headphones! Crisp, dark music where Depeche Mode meets Radiohead. Highly recommended. Rich James Excellent music with emotion, fragility and strength. Thoughtful lyrics and a powerful vocal delivery in Kiffie’s unique, melodic and sensitive way, Daring The Darkness is a truly inspired album (and the CD has lovely artwork). I like complex music, I like simple music, I like a bunch of stuff in between. Songs with clever lyrics, songs with dumb lyrics. Long songs, short songs. Loud music, soft music. Guitar based, keyboard based, electronic, acoustic. Variety is the spice of life!

Sure, it was played yesterday, July 16, after 3:30 PM EST. It came on after Pulp's "This Is Hardcore". The song lyrics mentioned, "real teenagers with real teenage emotions". Had a bit of electronic music mixed in.

The main structure of the song is finally done! Now it's time to write lyrics (I've recorded nonsense to give me an idea where the song was going). After that, I'm gonna add instruments and mix everything until i'm satisfied with the final result.

Anyone have any recommendations for music to listen to while studying? I can't do anything with lyrics or the words come in my brain and get in the way of my typing. And it can't be too relaxing or I will get sleepy, and I do not enjoy dance/electronic stuff. I am a picky listener.

I mostly listen to the music itself, not the lyrics.

I don't have vinyl, I buy CDs and rip them for my offline collection.

I grew up with metal, but learned to appreciate electronic music later on - you discover new sounds with every listen.

Most of this album is really good, produced well and fits the moody electronica vibe Gabu is going for. The songwriting and lyrics are really, really bad though, and it greatly hinders this album.

Cover art for "All These Faces" by GABUISLOST (2025) I’m going to review this very basically because I think there’s one huge issue that’s holding Gabu back. The production is great, Gabu’s voice fits well and this honestly goes places where I’ve never heard indie electronic music go before. I have three songs saved in my Spotify likes, and that’s more than most albums get. Nearly all the points off for “All These Faces” comes from the juvenile songwriting and lyrics. Oh my god, it’s embarrassingly bad. Much of the songwriting feels like it was made for a poetry assignment in ninth grade. The absolute best example is Gabu taking the “your love is like a drug” cliche and not only using it but making a WHOLE song about it. Jesus Christ. Favorite tracks: goodbyeee, your friend Least favorite track: likeadrug

This song was released during a time when electronic music was gaining popularity, and the catchy melody and upbeat tempo undoubtedly contributed to its success. However, the lyrics themselves are deceptively simple, and there is more to “Cheri Cheri Lady” than just a catchy tune (Circa 1985)

The Imperial Radio is all 'classic' tunes. Basically just instrumental electronic music. A few tunes with operatic singing that has no real lyrics. I like the Imperial radio for when I'm fighting as there isnt any dialogue.

The two radios I haven't tried are the Spice Harvester Radio.

my kids have an electronic-keyboard Frozen music-book, but I guess Disney only wanted to program in one actual Frozen song. So the others are out-of-copyright songs that they helpfully suggest just singing along to, with lyrics made up about Frozen instead
