Sorry, was correct the first time # 10. I can't speak to the ranking algo beyond Hailey's blog post, at a guess, pretty sure the issue is recency. Ie what time window are you measuring trends over. Longer time periods = more stable. Shorter = volatile, more manipulable, but more reactive to news.
