This entire debacle of starving Americans is totally on Trump and his MAGA CULT ! He manufactures chaos, then wants to receive a peace prize. He really is incredibly delusional. And it’s only getting worse. There is no cure for dementia, and for sure Trump has it. He checks all the boxes.

Adoption doesn’t “save” children, it rewards the state for separating them.

Most removals happen because of poverty, not abuse.
Families aren’t unsafe. They’re unsupported.

When we resource families, we dismantle the family policing system, piece by piece.

people talking about curtis sliwa having class and integrity are freaking me out. he's a white supremacist who stoked & organized vigilante lynch mobs; he was bernie goetz's #1 defender (seeing him as part of the same murderous project); he manufactures crime panic at every turn. he's a racist hack.

It’s genuinely terrifying how the right wing manufactures consent by dressing up pure propaganda as education, forcing a PragerU loyalty test on teachers while pretending it has anything to do with academic standards. This is just Christian nationalism with a scantron.

I do also think it's a bit lazy/clumsy to call boiler manufactures "the gas industry" - they don't (AFAIK) sell gas. They sell boilers. So no particular interest in selling gas boilers rather than ASHPs (which they also sell).

Not specifically useful but the one company I buy stuff from that manufactures in China has said they've been shipping when tariffs drop and hold when they go up. I think that mixed with low job growth is causing the issue

Ooh, do you like taking apart and/or fixing electronic stuff?

I'm always getting inside of things that manufactures don't really want you getting inside of. I can't help it! I just HAVE to see what's going on in there!

The true mark of English conversation is not being able to tell when you've been insulted. I think the more sophisticated society becomes, the more it hides behind the masks it manufactures.

The White House has made it a priority to bolster the nation’s supply chain in a market dominated by China.
Vulcan Elements manufactures rare earth magnets, while ReElement processes rare earth mineral ores and recycles old batteries and other products made with rare earths.
The investment in Vulcan Elements and ReElement Technologies is the latest stake taken by the US in a handful of private companies — including another rare earths company and chipmaker Intel — since US President Donald Trump began his second term in January.
The US Trump administration and private investors are partnering with two rare earth startups in a $1.4 billion deal to scale up the nation’s access to materials and technology that is crucial for producing an array of high-tech goods and military equipment.
