Mephitis sp. I love these guys. Unless one is a chemistry nerd, the salient take-home is a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, dish detergent and "x" is the best method to get rid of the smell if you are lucky enough to get sprayed. I only got two answers right...and that was one of them. Happy testing!

Neat that there’s more Conepatus than Mephitis in this picture.

Crushing to see how much football betting still has a hold on this podcast. Surely it can't be worth it...?

It's one of the most disgusting hypocrisies in our society, how this mephitis is mass-promoted.

The flippancy of the language used in relation to gambling/sports betting

The skunk villain looking back with a grin, the only visible vestige of the noble lion hero being the outline of his mane beneath his own tail and around his rump.

The mephitis looking forward with a grin, clenching his fists, and letting out a loud, brassy, odoriferous fart, obscuring the area.

Superskunker gassing out all of the villains, only to meet one one day wearing a gas mask and holding a ray gun. No problem, he'll just use his muscles to beat them.

The super mephitis lets out some of their gas anyway–for safe measure–, only to get zapped by the villain's ray.

🦨🦊 Snapshot NY caught a skunk + gray fox face-off! The fox backed down… smart move. Fun fact: skunks’ Latin name Mephitis mephitis means “stinky stink.” #WildlifeWednesday

Make sure to look out for the barred white-cheeked skunk (Mephitis ai-generatus) often recogniseable by its seven-clawed right fore-paw

Tzin is an adaptive shapeshifter who needs a DNA template to turn into a particular species…

Sometimes the source of that DNA might bring about some additional assets!

I’m not complaining. I feel bonita!!

No, this was definitely the fuzzy little stinker kind. I'm familiar with skunk weed, but it doesn't burn the eyes and throat like Mephitis mephitis does. Unless you're smoking it, that is
