Starting Over (an announcement)

Hey, it’s Pigeon, or PalmtreePigeon.

Let’s talk, shall we? To put it lightly, I’ve been putting up with a lot this last year, and as such, has made me stop loving what I create slowly. The reason why there’s only been 4 reviews this year is due to what’s been happening this past year, stalkers, depression, mental breakdowns, the worst of it happened during the early days of October of 2025, back then, I threw multiple mental breakdowns within the span of the first half of October; I’m fine now, but at the same time, it felt like I was overwhelmed with a lot happening in my life, and as such, I’d like to make the announcement that I will be going on Hiatus until January 2026.

During this time, reviews will not be released, but new episodes of the Palmtree Parlor Podcast will be released until the end of the year starting in December. Art will be going on a much shorter hiatus, as I continue to work on my short animation, which is due in 2 weeks.

You may have also noticed the ending of my Kirby Air Ride rereview having no Patreon credits; as of November 1st, 2025, I have effectively shut down my Patreon and am planning to upload all the unfinished stuff from there on Pigeon’s Party Pack eventually. This was done due to a lack of interest in the Patreon.

When PalmtreePigeon returns in January, the formula will be changed up a little bit, as I focus more of my energy on videos I enjoy than being obligated to make something I don’t want to (i.e. making a video on Shantae and the Seven Sirens in January). That being said, I am planning something big for the 5th anniversary of PalmtreePigeon and essentially the entirety of January; however, come 2026, the channel will be changed significantly focusing on what interests me the most, this means there won’t just be video game reviews, there might also be some storytime videos thrown in there as well, or just videos focusing on general topics; if you’re interested in this kind of stuff, then stay tuned for more information
