This has seen better days ! #FingerpostFriday signpost near Golitha falls, #Cornwall. Only take this one in dry weather, as it leads straight 200 metres of marsh. Hope to do it again one day, once the knee has recovered from its recent surgery. (Snapped patella tendon) #Running #Injury

I love the science of plant medicine and experimenting with new concoctions! Today I'm using bacopa (also known as brahmi) and a heritage pennywort (arthritis herb) that grow very easily in our wicking beds with sage and thyme in light pastry sausage rolls.

#WildflowerHour And saw some Pennywort happily growing out of the side of a tree...apparently "Its ability to grow in these locations is primarily due to the moisture and shade they provide, not because it is a parasite of the tree."

Java moss, amazon sword, and Brazilian Moneywort or Pennywort, can't remember which. I'm having a huge algae overgrowth problem though and they're all unhealthy. Its the reason for the co2

I went to WWT Arundel today, ostensibly on a punt to see if Holly-leaved Naiad was visible. It wasn't, but I did see masses of Floating Pennywort Hydrocotyle ranunculoides which is a worry. Also a Stonewort Chara sp. in the Hawaiian Goose inclosure, unidentified. @bsbibotany.bsky.social
