*Remembering I was a poet in high school. And used LiveJournal. And stalked a lot of older furs on it that have slowly become friends*

*Cringes at the poet part*

Also, I'm sure they know this too.

incredible that the history of modern anasthesia can be traced back to a 21 year old dude accidentally dicovering whippets and then having all his friends come over to do whippets and then writing up an extensive trip report

I'm a painter, a sculptor, a printmaker, a carver...😉 and what I meant by souciance was your concern and caring ♥️ I personally am copyleft, so I don't care if someone steals my images, etc, but my artist daughter and most of my friends care VERY much. So I appreciate you. ♥️

Spooling through my friends list is a growing obituary. KT who was kind and loving. Kate, who was brilliant, brave, beautiful and who I miss each new week. Little Leanne who lived her beliefs and was the most wonderful poet.

Wow! And ... bonus points ofr dismissing complainers as "geriatric" and "Boomers". Ahem. I'm 75, and a poet, and have friends my age who are major poets, who would be seriously concerned about signing any such agreement.

Friends, @jordanrhirsch.bsky.social is an amazing poet and wonderful person. Please check out her book
It feels weird to say "Buy my book" given everything, but I stand by the dedication on this collection's first page:

"To the women of Saint Paul, who deserve endless praise."

The resistance here is strong, and I'm so proud of my community working every hour of every day to protect our neighbors.
@katmabu.bsky.social
I would like to highly recommend MN author @jordanrhirsch.bsky.social's collection of sci-fi/fantasy short stories that take place in her (currently besieged) state.

“You can’t pick a favorite,” I said. “They’re books. They’re pieces of someone’s mind and soul. They’re almost friends.” I started back down the stairs again. “Sometimes a poet speaks best to what’s happening to you. Sometimes it’s a philosopher. Sometimes it’s a storyteller."

Also you forgot Jimmy Saville - friends with KC for years, apparently introduced to him by Mountbatten. Couldn’t make it up.
Is the poet there Brian Bilston?
It’s the poem for our age I think. The stuff coming out of the Epstein case is overwhelming. So many lives blighted beyond healing.

Alternative Brigid’s Day : They stole little Bridget
For seven years long;
When she came down again
Her friends were all gone.
They took her lightly back,
Between the night and morrow,
They thought that she was fast asleep,
But she was dead with sorrow.”
