Best pie I ever had was a vegan & gluten free pistachio cream pie. The crust was almond flour mixed with pistachios & butter. It had this heavenly, rich filling made of coconut milk and blended pistachios, topped with fluffy coconut cream. The sweetness came from agave. I still dream about this pie

I work for the public library but I am not a librarian. Occasionally, I'll do class visits, panels, readings, and workshops. Occasionally, I will win a grant. I do not and have never made a livable wage from writing.
I know we know this, but authors need to get better at talking about how they actually make their money. Stop pretending it's from the books.

Had an absolutely brilliant time at No Alibis in Belfast last week & was able to pick up this @bullaunpress.bsky.social absolute gem, which I am adoring. Gaëlle Bélem is a genius and I would follow her writing anywhere. Can't recommend this book enough.
