Den Prophet. 600 habe ich damals™️ beim Syntesizerstudio Jacob in WI (zu der Zeit noch an der Ringkirche) angetestet - muss sagen, der Nachbau ist gelungen. Die 5000 Mark waren als armer Schüler nicht machbar, der Polysix war teuer genug ;-)

The final result of Vela alpha is fuckin A N G R Y. I’m totally ok with this and would release it as the closing track to "þyngdarhrun."
I just need to know if having the pads on Layer C softened *just* a bit by the PolySix filter would also be release-worthy.

More on Vela but don’t care…
Running Layers B & C on the PolySix version with the gnarly pedal bass sitting underneath, no overdrive-y sounds happening, so good.

One of my pad layers was running through the MS-20 LPF emulation and I’m getting occasional overdrive-y elements from those sounds. While not unwelcome, I want to know what it sounds like through the PolySix LPF emulation

KORG自らがシミュレートし販売しているアプリ版のPolysixも、とてもよくできています。Polysixならではの主要な音色が、ほぼ実機同様な質感に仕上げられます。私感ではUNISONモードの音色の質感は異なる（良い悪いではなく）。BASS音に於けるUNISONモード活用音色は実機の方が良い感じです。
それと、単純にアナログシンセらしい音がします。これは、PolysixのオシレータがVCOであることが要因かもしれません（JUNO-106はDCO）。SSM社の2044チップを使用したVCFも、それに貢献しているかもしれません。

Came across this Polysix again today, and unfortunately the oscillator controls didn't work at all so I suspect it's got a leaky battery inside
Was somewhat tempted to be honest but I am tired of doing major repairs on vintage synths, having two other cantankerous synths is enough LOL
