Why do clinicians still think that exercise therapies will help this surge in ataxia cases without a full neurological work up, including pTau-181 and amyloid biomarker signals, as well as testing for SARSCoV2 virus in platelets and subtle changes in brain structure.

The study that probably prompted reposting above: Jan 2026 study in eBioMedicine showed Long-COVID w/ cognitive/neurological symptoms had biomarker changes (in pTau-181) which often predict cognitive decline, similar to changes seen in Alzheimer's disease.
