People would be well advised to see this as a rouguelike against democracy and the rule of law. They can't beat or even reach the final boss yet, but they keep coming back to the same talking points and strategies and getting a little further each time.
I saw a stray post that I can't find saying that invoking the Insurrection Act is not a big deal as the military, even as it is unleashed to enforce the law on the US people, would still have to follow the law.

Just implemented respawning for my #rouguelike, #cursed_existence - beforehand you'd just lie there forever and have to restart the game^^
Only problem was, that I misremembered how my delay function worked, and instead of waiting 5 seconds to respawn, it took 5000 seconds :D

Cult of the lamb! Probably my favorite game, it's not my most played but I absolutely love this game. It's a very good mix of energetic and chill, being both a rouguelike and a base builder. I think anyone could enjoy this game

Very well. I didn't recognize it as "rouguelike" when I was younger. I thought it was just an rpg. I have never played the second one. Looking forward to it. The digital playstation version of dark cloud is very zippy in load times.

I'm not normally a rouguelike deckbuilder person but I think I need Toads of the Bayou.
Toads of the Bayou is an Into The Breach-like high-focus tactics game with some light deckbuilding bits. Fun setting - cartoon amphibian folks battle Baron Samedi and other voodoo villains in the Louisiana swamps.
The card art is gorgeous and parallaxed too.

Interesting take! I haven't started blue prince yet but I didn't get a rouguelike impression of it from trailers at all. I have had a similar feeling when playing roguelikes or something like Outer Wilds, where I can only start over so many times before I feel like I no longer want to play.
