Spurtle. The tool for stirring porridge. And the word has no undertones whatsoever.

The Spurtle.

A traditional Scottish cooking paddle in use since the 15th century. Mostly used for cooking porridge but quickly becomes the most popular wooden tool for soups, stews - spreading and flipping.

Subtle curves allow access into all spots of your pot or pan.

All handcarved.

A spurtle.

A fucking porridge stirrer.
I have a vv small round pan which you can only really use to make one (1) perfectly round fried egg and, if I'm honest, I love it more than maybe a third of my acquaintances
timeline cleanse: i want to hear about the most useless kitchen items you have ever owned.

let me kick things off with
-the mushroom brush (as in, for brushing mushrooms)
-the sausage guillotine someone gave me

Fabulous from the title choreography on (or up!)
So famous, so intense, so classy, but to me Alan Cumming will always be Sebastian Flight and Siobhan Redmond will always be T̵h̵e̵ ̵R̵a̵n̵i̵ Shona Spurtle
Oh, dearie me!

Spurtle. It is a) a completely ridiculous word and b) a cooking utensil I absolutely must own
Spatchcock. I like the cooking technique and saying the word. Spatchcock.

I have no spurtle yet I am ridiculously rich enough to afford star anise and sugar.

I am able to eat it selectively as a treat instead of relying on it as a desperate attempt at survival.

I combined quick oats and thick oats to create a secret 3rd thing...

medium oats.
