Morning, all. It's a big medical day, and one task out of four is done. The stoma clinic wants to try a different ostomy bag, and now I'm waiting to see my medical oncologist. I'm expecting to hear that chemo isn't indicated, which would be good news. #CancerSUCKS #BladderCancerSUCKS

At #Thanksgiving, watch your alcohol & dessert intake, too. Both contain a lot of sugar & sugar makes your #Ostomy #Stoma produce more output. Sugar acts as a laxative & Sugar is the enemy of the #Ostomate.

GM #StomaBuds, your #Peristomal skin, the skin around your #Stoma, must be given the utmost care. It's imp to keep the skin dry & prepped before you change your #Ostomy appliance. Less is more! If your skin is good shape, you don't need to use any prep, but listen to your
nurse or Dr. 1/2

The #OstomyBag I put on yesterday didn't even last 24 hours due to my #stoma being a bit hard & swollen. My new ostomy bag's circumference is 37 mm x 32 mm. My stoma's most vertical point was 28 mm & its most horizontal point was 30 mm. Hope it shrinks some. Feeling #frustrated. #OstomyBagSystem
