For this study we generated 2D models of 50+ theropods and used FEA and phylogenetic analyses to evaluate their feeding function and the evolution of feeding behavior in Theropoda.

Also now way in the HELL would a paleontologist say a theropoda allosaurus is a reptile. DINOSAURS ARE NOT REPTILES AND SHE SHOULD KNOW THAT.

Word of the Hour: Theropoda - An order of carnivorous dinosaurs in which the feet are less birdlike and hence more like those of an ordinary quadruped than in the Ornithopoda. It includes the rapacious genera Megalosaurus Creosaurus and their allies. #WordOfTheHour #WordOfTheDay

“Theropoda (two legged dinosaurs) not to be confused with Pteropoda (marine gastropods)” is such a hilarious similarity thanks Wikipedia lol

it wouldn't be until much later that material from related taxa such as nothronychus would elucidate just how odd therizinosaurus was among theropoda, being a slow-moving, heavy-bodied herbivore with a long neck and a relatively small, delicate skull
