I believe that after the whole pan-turkist phase, many Crimean Karaites nowadays are re-Judaizing, as in re-adopting traditional Karaite Judaism instead of the weird turkified version via contact with Egyptian Karaites in Israel

Taking place within this same common steppe culture, it only marginally alters the political culture of the empire. Temür, a Turkified Mongol, still thinks essentially within the Chinggisid framework.

getting lost due to their "rule" (colonization), also let's not forget all the genocides they committed against us throughout history yet they deny it and mock it. and it's really 9/10 because of whatever the f they're learning in their "schools." our people were forcibly Turkified. BFR.

If the show had featured the Chagatai then I could at least have understood if he went "yeah these guys Turkified" but to my recollection they went unmentioned (a grave injustice tbh, they did so much cool poetry)

the early documents mentioned in sources as written “in Uyghur script” were in Uyghur or rather in Mongolian (as I’m concerned, I have difficulties to think that Mongolian was used in official documents only after a later development in area already heavily Turkified, but I well might be wrong).

In Turkey, Kurdish language and culture were banned, but "Turkified" Kurds - like former PM Turgut Özal - were nevertheless viewed as legitimate.

Heard the word röpteşambır (bathrobe in Turkish) for the first time last week, found it such a weird word. I heard it again this morning and suddenly I understood: this is the Turkified way of saying robe de chambre

2. I don't think that this would have been possible if the majority of Hungarians had remained in Bashkiria, even if they had been Turkified.
On the other hand, we find references to fairly close-knit groups of Hungarians outside their homeland.

I think Turkey tacitly approves Israel's actions, as it too rushes to grab even more territory.
Will be surprised if the new Turkey backed HTS interim gov will make the same demands for Turkey, who ethnically cleansed and turkified Afrin in 2018, and now moves on from Manbij to slaughter Kobane.
