Likely similar thing going on here. Most of Cadillac's volume is the Lyriq which is the larger battery setup on Ultium and Chevy famously did lots of cost cutting for their poverty spec Ultium products, Equinox EV AWD rear motor isn't even actively cooled.
Also the Bolt didn't stop until 2023.

I could certainly see that scenario; it would be 5+ years after the first of the current Ultium #EV models were supposed to have launched. But beyond the sort of general logic of it, any mentions / proof points / articles / other stuff to suggest it's real?

It's included in the article, just down the list as they had an EV winter after killing the bolt to artificially raise the price floor, resulting in not much new until the Ultium stuff hit, expect them to be notable when leases end shortly.

GM’s battery biz (incl. Honda Prologue + Acura ZDX) delivered 220k EVs in 2025. A great year, but one I expect we won’t see repeated until at least 2027.
The Ultium brand is dead & Honda has gone its separate way.
A good 2026 for GM would be repeating 2025 (170k EVs) w/o tax credits.

Need to see how much things fall off in Q4, but 175,000 for GM EVs and 230,000 for Ultium in 2025 seem like good targets.
