Use every tool in the NIMBY toolbox to block these developments. I want a 5 year process of getting design review approvals as well
My understanding is that CM Rinck is proposing interim regulations around new and expanded detention centers rather than permanent ones is...permanent ones would require SEPA review.

Of halting the expansion of detention centers.

after a year of lingodeer I honestly can't say it's any better than duo. all app language learning just sucks for me. it's fine for review or whatever but it's shit for learning anything new. it doesn't make anything stick in my brain at all

the analog version of this happened to my stepmom's favorite hole in the wall pasta place in DC - they got a glowing review from the post (rip) and it totally ate them alive. the owner retired and they closed within a year.
