Looking at the Crucifixion painting ‘brought from Lisbon’ at the Catholic Church, Youghal - a follower (or even a somewhat naive copy) of Portuguese artist Carlos Frey (or Frei)& his mid-16th c Crucifixion? Looking at sinews & position of arms, fluttering drapery, landscape, cloud composition)

Good for your grandad !
My friend's grandad had a pub in Youghal in Cork which they burnt down one night. He sent his kids away because he was so terrified that they would be harmed

It doesn't make sense to NOT fund reopening these rail lines - grow locations along the line & bring life to Youghal as a commuter town. Park & Ride & reduce traffic coming from East Cork & Waterford. www.irishexaminer.com/news/munster...
'No plan, no policy, no funding' for Midleton to Youghal railway line, says Irish Rail
AJ Cronin, the Irish Rail manager in charge of the €1.8bn upgrade of the Cork Commuter Rail project, had better news about about that project

Shame that Moby Dick's pub in Youghal, Ireland is about to shut down.
Youghal harbour doubled as Nantucket for the Gregory Peck version of the movie, and Huston rented the pub's sitting room as his production office.

Youghal pub used by John Huston when filming Moby Dick to close after almost 150 years
‘My father used to say it was like sitting on top of an oil well with all the business it brought – it was the making of the pub’
