Today marks two years since the horrific attacks by Hamas and other armed groups on #Israel - in which 1,200 people were killed and 251 taken hostage in Gaza.

Two years of war in #Gaza.

Two years of devastation, displacement, hunger.

Gaza needs food and aid at scale. Only a ceasefire can make that possible.

On #InternationalWomensDay, we celebrate the essential role of women in food security and nutrition.

Women farmers, scientists, policymakers, and community leaders drive change, yet they continue to face inequalities in access to land, resources, and decision-making spaces.

🆕What happens when humanitarian aid is cut or delayed?

A 20% aid cut in one of the world's largest refugee camp didn’t just reduce what and how much refugees eat; it also triggered a cascade of effects across households and markets. voxdev.org/topic/instit...

We are in a health financing emergency. This year, I ask Health Ministers to take:

One action to increase domestic financing.

One reform to reduce out-of-pocket costs.

One measurable result on maternal health, hypertension, immunization, or another national priority.
