Just so happens that Kroger's last CEO was paid 457x its typical employee in 2024.

As a PhD-holder myself, I feel obligated to make it abundantly clear that people with PhDs are not necessarily smart. They're experts in a small niche of their incredibly niche field, sure, but sometimes that is all. A PhD is a test of resilience and stubbornness, not cleverness.

Is this government carving out more places it does not need to consult on decisions on how to use our enviroment?I'm not sure but it seems those wth power increasingly seem convinced that consultation with the great unwashed including mere specialists on the frontline are not worth engaging with.
