I don’t know if momentum means anything in baseball, but wow did the Yankees just grabbed all the momentum and ran with it. Damn.

Exactly. Not only is Eby defending his own residents, but recognizing the reality of the situation. Smith's proposal is pure fiction and deliberately designed to provoke and prod.

B.C. Premier David Eby is clearly beyond frustrated with Danielle Smith's pipeline dreams threatening the B.C. economy.

In a fiery statement, he called her out directly stating...

"This is not the Danielle Smith show!"

Wow. This is pretty damning about how 'justice' works in Trump's government.

"This is supposed to be an oversight hearing" -- Schiff helpfully ticks through all of the incriminating questions -- and there are many of them -- that Bondi refused to answer during today's hearing

Exactly. Blaming Ottawa is baked into the DNA of western conservatism.

Of course, of COURSE, Danielle Smith blamed Ottawa for Imperial Oil's plan to lay off 20 per cent of its employees by 2027.

Saskatchewan has more crown corporations than any other province. A bold idea for making life more affordable: public options at every single step of the supply chain that's ripping us off. #cdnpoli #NDP

Bondi to Blumenthal: "You lied. How dare you? I'm a career prosecutor. Don't you ever challenge my integrity. Do not question my ability to be fair and impartial."

Both sides are pretty dug in. How the public respond and who they will ultimately support in this dispute is ultimately how it will be solved. And right now, the teachers have a really strong argument about why they're taking this job action.

And the membership is united. The province can't push this aside as a greedy union. Recall how important teachers and education were to these governments during the pandemic. It is time to treat teachers and their work environments with the value they deserve.

I’ve seen a lot of rallies at the Alberta Legislature, but today’s Teachers’ rally had to be the biggest one.

#ForeverCanadian volunteers were there, collecting signatures.

Teachers, thank you for your support!!!

If those of us on the left spent as much energy trying to defeat fascism as we do policing each other and tearing potential allies down, we’d be a lot better off. Take a lesson from History: the Popular Front brought centrists together with social democrats and communists. That’s what we need.

Prices rising largely as a result of the US imposing tariffs on Brazil, and Brazilian growers not selling to the market, forcing buyers to compete with alternate suppliers.
Prices are not rising because of the size of the deficit, as Poilievre would have you believe.

Its beyond disappointing that no one in Alberta politics can see anything other than oil. As a transplant, its been shocking and alienating.

I really hope a Jays/Tigers ALCS is in the offering, if for no other reason than to prove how annoying the Atlantic sportswriter predictions actually are.

Ok. Question. If you’re on a path and you’re running on the left side of the path and a cyclist is riding towards you, who should move first? Should the runner default to the right or should the cyclist move for the runner? Also, bikes should have bells, no?
