Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

Many interesting and good points. I have to disagree with this statement, however ⬇️ The GOP's claim that a healthcare system with less government control will be more efficient, effective, & affordable is not intellectually coherent. It is factually incorrect, which is why it's a difficult sell.
Text from the cited article says, Republicans have made the conservative case, which is that government intervention will do more harm than good—and that a system with less control will ultimately be more efficient, less expensive, and promote better outcomes.

The GOP’s case is intellectually coherent, with plenty of serious conservative and libertarian thinkers to defend it. But Republicans have had a tough time selling it."

Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."

"The president has already announced that if a judge does rule against him, he will invoke the Insurrection Act and then continue the military deployments. This is where we’ve been headed since January 6, 2021.”

I can’t believe I have to say this, but historically, masked men who kidnap families in the middle of the night are usually not the good guys.

My grandparents came to this country as refugees from Hitler and the Russian Czar. They loved America for our country's promise. And they would be appalled at what is happening, as am I.
