A fed judge in DC today denied a preliminary injunction that 4 ed research organizations had wanted. That means the Education Department doesn't have to rehire all the employees it axed and reinstate contracts while the courts decide whether the Trump admin exceeded its exec authority. (1/7)

The Senate Committee on Appropriations gave the first signs Congress will push back on Trump's proposed budget cuts to science and instead keep funding flat, though an unrelated issue (the location of the FBI headquarters) stalled any vote today.

Great to see our registered report on the effects of special education services on the reading achievement of students with #disabilities now out in print. We find evidence of positive effects in the later elementary grades including for students of color. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10....
