"Democrats are about to win an election. Here's why that's bad for Democrats."

Fuuuuuuck offffff.
I already knew that was one of your requirements & I was mainly being supportive but mischievous 😉

(Charlotte knows I'll run to the hills if anyone responds)
Also location.. soup by mail is possible but..
I fail on one of these.. ok probably two of these requirements these days. 😜
I'm not really on top of this one.... I just used to snort at his unfortunate name.. (either dick trainee or dick chain me)
See I'm taking this as you being very kind and preparing this as gluten free for us weirdos
@thekenchilds.com I got into dream theatre in the mid 90s... There are a-holes in music whose political positions you can understand for shallow financial reasons.. but I struggle with dickhead offspring
It is kind of funny/revealing how we’re in the midst of an actual authoritarian takeover at the federal level, but all these people are spiraling and panicking over the prospect of a progressive mayor in NYC.
now that's what I call a Mamdani endorsement. Don't threaten New Yorkers with a good time, Dave. www.yahoo.com/news/article...
Show me you're on social media, confidentially talking about things that happened way before you were born without understanding anything about those things...
Ppphh.. I make enough soup for more than a day, I'll take a photo when I reheat it tomorrow 😉
I made leek and potato earlier... although In all honesty whenever I make it, it's more white pepper, leek, and potato

You’ve been hit by, you’ve been struck by, cold pumpernickel
Big day at U.S. District Court in D.C. where Sean Dunn, the D.C. Sandwich Guy, is on trial for misdemeanor assault of a federal officer.

Border Patrol agent Gregory Lairmore is on the stand narrating surveillance video of the sammie toss.

'Now he’s struck me with the sandwich,' Lairmore says.

Here’s a piece I drew for a project that has, rather sadly, been cancelled (nobody involved at fault).
It depicts #RoyalNavy carrier borne aircraft - Sopwith Camel, Supermarine Seafire, Sea Harrier and F35B.
It’s all graphite and is 70cm across. It’s a lovely piece which I spent 90 hours on.

Kwasi Kwarteng, the former UK chancellor whose infamous “mini” Budget under then-Prime Minister Liz Truss triggered a crisis in the gilts market, is backing the launch of a bitcoin investment company.

Not a strategic tactical command decision... But I always figured as a captain I'd want something that ran very quiet, and could also run away v.v.fast. (whilst admittedly probably not be quiet when running away)

Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."

Local newspapers were not perfect by any stretch, but allowing companies to destroy them not only impoverished communities, but left us all vulnerable to social media and the disinformation that's tearing our society apart from within.

First newspaper I worked at in the '00s covered a ~100,000 town w/ 6 reporters, 4 photographers, news ed, & editor, plus 8 subs covering that and the other six papers in the group. Now? Two reporters & 1 ed based in a different town.

Similar at second paper, now reduced to two reporters and one ed.
Met the former editor of the York Evening Press last night, who said in the mid-90s he had 85 people working directly for him, including nine staff photographers. All that to serve a city and surrounding area of about 200k people. Local news was wilddddd.
I kinda like the fact that for a brief period of time before it became a cesspool I managed to talk & chat with Scott & Mark, and even Ken once responded to something I asked him.

Of course, it was the egg salad sandwiches which broke the Light Brigade at Balaclava

The horses couldn’t see the yolk in it though
