Almost all of the people we've (including me) made fun of for the last 5 to 10 years ended up more powerful, richer, and/or influential. The rare exception are Trump's political rivals like DeSantis but that's it. From small guys like Posobiec to mid-tier people like Bari Weiss all the way to Musk

I think there's a distinction between a joke and a laugh line. This reads and sounds like a laugh line - ha! odd bedfellows in this room! - but it's not a joke.
