The marines wanted to fire live artillary over I-5; Newsom didn't want them to, but they said too bad; that it was safe.

Then, oh, look: a shell detonated prematurely. Good thing Newsom had shut down 17 miles of freeway (used by 80,000 Californians daily).

Yesterday at the #NoKings rally in Ocean Beach, San Francisco. Those of us who can't walk on the beach watched as our patriotic compatriots formed a human flag on Ocean Drive, including this lovely woman in a wheelchair holding a sign that read "I'm FA Auntie!" ✊
