Hi everybody. This is hard for me to write but I need help. I’m having a mental health crisis & I’ll be an intensive outpatient psych program for the next 2 months. I’m applying for short term disability but I’ll only get $100/week. I’m dropping a link to my Ko-Fi here.🧵

Adoption strips adoptees of the birthright to their own family history, legally locks it away, and replaces it with a fake birth certificate. And people think their citizenship is safe? It was never safe. Adoptees are proof of how easy it is for the state to dictate circumstances.
I get a sick feeling, as do many, when the possibility of losing birthright citizenship comes up. Now imagine adoptees, who have no “birthright parentage” guarantee.

If you are afraid the ICC will try you for war crimes, do you
1. Stop committing war crimes, or
2. Try to destroy the ICC and international rule of law?

Obviously 2. Sorry I asked. I don’t know what got into me.
NEWS: Trump officials are worried the ICC may try to prosecute them for war crimes once Trump's term ends, and are threatening sanctions against the ICC to change its founding document to grant them immunity. (via Reuters / link in reply)

The “diversity” complaint is drawing a lot of laughter here, but the fact is that Calibri is a more accessible font for people with visual impairments, for example, than Times New Roman.

So yes, it’s a silly and pointless decision, but it’s also shitty for the sake of being shitty.
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move
Rubio Stages Font Coup: Times New Roman Ousts Calibri
The secretary of state called it a "wasteful" diversity move, according to an internal department cable seen by Reuters.

Remember kids, leave your phones at home or at least off / in airplane mode during protests. (Not that I would know anything about that, cuz I've definitely never been to a protest, obviously, in case anyone asks, or in case ICE is reading this post... just sayin...) youtube.com/shorts/bE8Mu...

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

Your regularly scheduled reminder that @gavinnewsom.bsky.social still sucks and we don't have to settle for crappy politicians who throw us under the bus after we elect them. Expect more. Demand better.
"...Newsom has vetoed our menopause bill, not one but two years in a row. But that's OK, because he's not going to be governor forever. And with the way he's overlooked women, half the population, by devaluing us in midlife, he probably should not be our next president either."
