I have decided after a long recovery from COVID that I am no longer going to be posting art or anything regularly to social media.

Cirrus' are little tiny jet aircraft only slightly larger than Cessna's prop-powered offerings and incredibly manouverable - one of the reasons I gel sometimes with Airforceproud95's videos is when he takes flights on Cirrus jets and test-flys them on MSFS.

The subtext of this story is because we aren't launching as many weather balloons and as a result of the deep cuts to NOAA, weather forecast models didn't see that Typhoon Halong was going to take a different track than predicted:

AFN has a story today. This is the first that I heard someone died. So many villages devastated. It will take years to recover because it's so expensive to build in these rural villages.

Entire communities in Western AK have been displaced by the remnants of Typhoon Halong.
