Perhaps Pierre Poilievre might be better suited running for the "Prime Minister" of Alberta. You know. In his riding.
His new one.
Ya, the one he stole from the guy running in it first.
After losing his 20 yr riding. Ya that one.

I know Dani likes him. He'd be really good for it.

Border Patrol agent Lairmore testifies that he was not injured by the sandwich, but he felt the impact through his ballistic vest.

The sandwich came apart and "kind of exploded" on his chest upon impact, he says.

"I could smell the onions and mustard."
Best stay in with a cocoa and some digestives

Or maybe digestif of the French kind.

Is this same Labour Government expanding airports,

refuses to rule out extracting more fossil fuels from the Rosebank Oil Field

Intent on destroying bats, newts and doesn't care about nature?

Not sure going to Brazil alone is going to do much good.

A new day, and a new poll showing Greens on their joint record polling (YouGov have Greens on 16% - same as Tories and one point ahead of Lib Dem’s).

It's easy to take autumn's colours for granted. But across much of the world, there's no such seasonal leaf fall: eg in the tropics, or where conifers hold sway in the north.

Another of the things that make our natural forests so incredibly special.

The bus gate, introduced May 2024, had generated £2.6m in fines by June 2025.

The schemes were implemented by the previous Conservative administration at Lancashire CC but Reform back the plans and said they generate revenue and improve bus punctuality.

The racist ghouls of X - assisted by Elon Musk's Grok - spread falsehoods to suggest a Muslim was responsible for the Huntingdon train attack, even as heroic rail worker Samir Zitouni, who put his life on the line to save many passengers on that train, lay gravely wounded.

Experience curves indicate that successful technologies reduce in cost by ~20% for each doubling of cumulative production.

However, we find that past learning rates are not very predictive of future learning rates, throwing many energy tech cost projections into doubt.

I tagged Grok into an X post about Samir Zitouni & false claims about the Huntingdon attack that were amplified by Grok.

This led to the following exchange.

Grok is quite literally making stuff up, first to gratify the racism of Elon Musk and then to disguise the fact that it is doing this.

While you are complaining about what people are buying with their Food Stamps in the USA.

Remember that the US Government allows billionaires to borrow money to spend so they don't have to have any income so they don't pay any tax.

And that costs FAR, FAR more.

I think what happened is a ton of playhouses/opera/ballet companies did Great Gatsby adaptations as a veiled critique of the Trump era, Trump saw them, didn't get it, and this inspired his unintentionally self-criticizing party

Deep sigh. “Mustard gas” is entirely unrelated to mustard or mustard seeds. It’s a nickname. Hell, it’s not even a gas

“The BBC didn’t get January 6 wrong. It should be brave enough to say so. Whoever wrote the internal report seen by The Telegraph is either malign or mistaken. The way it has been weaponised to attack the BBC shows the folly of trying to appease Team Trump, or to negotiate with them in good faith.”
The BBC was right about the Capitol riots. In a sane world, Trump would be in jail
Trump faced impeachment over the riots, and in a world where Republicans had more courage, he would have been found guilty
