What happened to anyone who seriously threatened to reverse any part of the Thatcherite revolution? Who was it that enforced those penalties. There’s your answer, and there’s who is to blame.

Thatcher was born 100 years ago and her reign feels a lifetime away. Why is her effect on the country still so huge? |

Be very clear that this was about not only creating fear on English soil, but about 'blooding' officers from N. Ireland to commit mass arrest on Irish soil.

A lot of people grieve the years they lost to the first years of the pandemic, a time you had your entire life put on hold. Just imagine what it's like for Palestinians watching the calendar approaching 2 years of their people getting massacred daily. Imagine how absurdly long these 2 years feel.

My third "31 horror films in 31 days" podcast series begins tomorrow. It's called 31 Murders To Midnight and is available to subscribers of the patreon. I will talk about each film (or tv show or short, sorry) for 31 minutes. There will be five weekly episodes. It's good. patreon.com/sfultra

I am wearing a t-shirt that has Mickey and Minnie mouse doing lines on it and two separate people in two separate shops have asked if I work here. Startling indictment of my general vibe I guess.

Well, if it’s 23 September... YES, THAT’S RIGHT! It’s the 71st anniversary of the hunt for the Gorbals Vampire, in which hundreds of children aged from four to 14, armed with dogs, knives and sharpened sticks went looking for an urban myth
Daily Mirror front page shows grainy image of horde of children in a cemetery, and the headline “Amazing scene as hundreds of children rush cemetery”
