I'm seeing a lot of posts about marathon signs and it's reminding me that, by far, my favorite signs when running a marathon are kids holding out "power up button" signs for you to press. If you don't hit at least one of those you just ran 26.2 miles for nothing.

Don’t let the internet fool you. I was at a protest for trans kids yesterday an HOUR south of Seattle, and it was HUGE. And there was a cacophony of drivers beeping in support.

I could not believe it. Because I spend too much online and figured it’s a lost cause.

EXACTLY. They ID'd trans folks as a group that Democrats were willing to sacrifice, which will make it easier to roll back other civil rights and liberties until things are worse than they were 120 years ago. Fight for trans rights because it's the right thing to do, but also because you're next.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.
