Here’s my net migration model projected forwards two years (plus past figures). Net migration actually looks like hovering at about 300,000 in 2025 before coming crashing down in 2026. The government must avoid the temptation to cut immigration even further when they see these figures. (1/2)

Or maybe it's that Labour aren't even moving in the right direction. They could've been honest from the start that it will take extra revenue from increased taxation in order to fix the horrendous mess left by the previous government. But they're actively making things worse, somehow.

No one serious is saying they should've fixed all of that by now. You should try asking those affected by the Post Office Scandal about how they feel this government is handling it though. And how those of us who rely on the NHS and social care feel about their “progress” thus far.

JK - I grew up in an era when mainstream women's magazines told girls they needed to be thinner and prettier.
Now mainstream women's magazines tell girls that men are better women than they are.

Sure, but this is just a much more honest version of “we are all in this together”, where “we” is correctly understood as “wealthy and comfortable people, and fuck everybody else”, the actual meaning at the time that everyone understood you couldn’t say out loud.
