Thankfully those nightmares are rarer these days thanks to the pixies. Occassionally they slip through, but more often than not he sleeps in peace when he can sleep. And when he can't, there's always a warm blanket, and stars outside to view.

They're mix of memory & all the ways the subconcious mind can fuse things together to process the sheer amount its experienced. It can range from time running out, to sensations that aren't real but once were. He doesn't really get anything crystal clear, but he does remember bits and pieces.

Koh'a gets semi-recurring nightmares, though since ShB he's been lucky to have the pixies guarding his dreams. They're often more sound and sensation, occassionally detail. The kind of abstract thing that leaves your heart racing, and your body wading through tar to wake up.

if you are food insecure for both the humans and pets in your household there is a tool called Pet Help Finder that can help locate pet food banks nearby and other free or reduced price assistance and supplies for pets.

Mihoyo has released footage of its upcoming MMO project that touts “intelligent NPCs” as a feature

miHoYo, the developer behind Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and other gacha titles, has released a teaser video for its upcoming Unreal Engine 5 project. It's a fantasy MMO which, you guessed it, makes use of Al.

Spotted by users on ResetEra, miHoYo's hiring department posted a video and additional project information on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform). The post lists out a number of key quirks of the game, including MMO, PVP, Open World, "Artificial Intelligence Stimulated Eco System", All-Terrain Battle Al, and “Intellectual NPC"

It's worth noting that these are translated, and therefore the exact wording must be taken with a grain of salt. However, it does provide some manner of insight into one of miHoYo's big upcoming projects. First of all, one immediate thing one can see from the post is that the aesthetic of this mysterious new project isn't miHoYo's typical anime style. Instead, you see the obvious marks of Unreal Engine 5.

five years later, my body is a map of compromises

Hi! So this is a very personal piece. I haven’t drawn a self portrait in a good while and wasn’t really planning to but with the date I felt like I should do it. i was very hesitant to share this, but I feel that the benefits of baring my heart far outweighed my fear of being seen.

Two years ago, I claimed I got top surgery. This is only partly true.

Five years ago, in the middle of the pandemic, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

I’m not going to share a lot of details, just that it was a trip to go through as someone who identifies as transmasculine, having been diagnosed with a disease that is very gendered in a country that still doesn’t recognize transgender people as who they are.

There has been, and still is, an amount of disconnect from my body, whether that’s from my impossible aspirations for it, or that it had been poked and prodded at for so long it no longer feels like me, I couldn’t tell you. Regardless, it’s mine, and I have to live with it and shape it in the capacity I’m able to, within the limits of my health.

Every body is unique, and i try to make my self and my body in conversation with each other. Instead of having expectations, I let myself be surprised by what my body is capable of despite of all that’s happened to it.

I had always been reluctant to share this, since it’s very often that I will be recognized for the cancer first before my transness, but just like I am slowly accepting my body for what it is, I have to share this on my own terms.

As an artist I put myself in my works all the time- if you ever wondered why some of my characters have unusual scars… well hahaha. This piece was hard to work on, but in some way, I hope my message comes through, or it resonates somehow.
