The way they composited real human eyes on these puppets is the raddest, scariest thing I've seen in a while.

The "cognitive decline and brain damage from repeat COVID infections" and "easy to use robot that makes slop and melts your critical thinking skills" is a hell of a combo in a post-fact media ecosystem

In my happy place, writing a talk about sword lesbian fashion for a room full of lesbians later on this eve. I really enjoy writing for museum-goers and wider online audiences. But writing for the younger dykes to see themselves through history is pure joy, truly what I was put on this earth to do!

The guy's real first name was Otto but both scaling really difficult mountains and unwittingly creating the most practical lesbian accessory and symbolic shorthand means that Rambo is all too well deserved.

I cannot sit alone with the fact that the inventor of the carabiner is an early 20th century German mountaineer who went by Rambo Herzog

That is interesting. To my lettering friends, are you familiar with this and what are your opinions about it?

I’ve never seen this before! An *inward-indicating* word-balloon tail (that’s the speaker’s right arm descending below the word balloon).

FASCINATING! Does this tail technique have a name? Have folks seen it used elsewhere?? I have so many questions!!! (From HIRAYASUMI, book 3, pg 37)

I will gladly draw all of the frogs as a symbol for the movement, explicitly to take them back from the fuckers who co opted Pepe for their nazi shit.

It's Lesbian Visibility Day, and I see that Bookshop is having FREE SHIPPING until the day's over, so it's clearly time for some lesbian horror 🌈😈

Should I end 2025 with having watched Xena
carmineclaire.bsky.social
I have not seen Xena. I don't even think that's necessarily weird for my generation or upbringing (France in the 90s and early 2000s) but it is weird given how into warrior women I am

Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?

I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.
